We will enjoy viewing ten of the most popular Gilbert and Sullivan operettas on DVDs of brilliant productions from 1982. The featured soloists are mainly excellent young singers, many of whom went on to enjoy distinguished operatic careers. They are backed by the very good Ambrosia Opera Chorus. I will give a brief introduction to the operetta at each meeting.
