The four sessions will include birdwatching locally in Ferndown Common, Holt Heath, Longham Lakes, Blashford Lakes. and Kingfisher Barn. Further trips to Poole Harbour, Brownsea Island, Studland, Arne Nature Reserve and Durlston Park will also be possible depending on the number of members who are interested in going, the weather and the time of year. No special ability is required, except an interest in birds. Binoculars will be helpful in seeing and identifying birds.
